How to Keep Em' Comin' Back For More: Gain more Blog Subscribers

If you want to keep your blog subscriptions growing, follow these tips as a pathway to success.

• Make it easy for the reader to subscribe. Ask for a subscription at the bottom of each post, or have a link or form that is very easy to access.

• Display a clear call-to-action to your blog, along with a RSS subscription button and a simple, one-field email opt-in form near the top.

• Offer Something! Grab the readers attention by offering an Ebook, Whitepaper or an industry related article.

• Create a form or landing page that is directed only for the purpose of gaining subscribers! 

• Guest Blog! It is a great way to gain exposure and leverage the network of a blogger who already has a consistent base of subscribers. You may even ask them to be a guest blogger for your page!

• Along with guest blogging, make sure that you post in other forums, and participate in the comment dialogue. You can post a link to your blog after contributing to someone elses.

• In all marketing emails, make sure that you include a subscription CTA in either the signature or the footer of the email. Along the same lines, it is a good idea to entice readers into subscribing for daily blog notification emails.
