How can you say no to 150 years of “Old World” Italian pastry recipes? Take some time out of your day to visit Modern Pastry in the North End..or maybe just get a box to go and then share with me! Modern Pastry is backed by three generations of inventive master chefs. Whether you are in the mood for cakes, cookies, candies or pastries, all products are made with only the finest ingredients and they are all hand crafted and made to order.

 

Modern Pastry can be described as an old neighborhood-gathering place that inspires family time and laughs with friends. Some of the delicious options that they offer are:

• Hand-made cookies (fresh macaroons, anyone?)
• Traditional Italian cakes and pastry (I MUST try the babas!)
• Fresh baked pies (I wouldn't turn down the blueberry...)
• Custom and wedding cakes

So maybe you don’t need a custom wedding cake at Inbound 2014 but, instead of waiting in long line for a cannoli at (the delicious) Mike’s Pastry, you can get that great atmosphere and delicious pastries while avoiding a “touristy” crowd. In fact, there has always been a friendly jihad about which is better? Mikes or Modern? I guess I will have to find out.

 

It’s a fabulous excuse to eat 6 pastries. Goodbye low carb diet.
