Dental Marketing Ideas : 5 Ways To Attract New Patients
Often, we hear that referrals are the bread-and-butter of dental practices. I am certainly not knocking referrals. They're terrific and a great example of how customers can champion a business and become promoters. We are HUGE fans of referrals here at Stratagon.
But did you know that there are some other ways where YOU control the messages that attract and keep new patients?
1) Increase your web content. According to a Hubspot marketing study, companies with 51 to 100 pages of web content generate 48% more traffic than companies with 1-50 pages. 48%. That's a lot more fingers walking across the pages of your site. And a lot more exposure to potential new patients.
2) Blog. And then blog some more. According to the same study, companies that blog 15x per month or more get 5x more traffic than companies who don't blog. Let's think about this. If you start a blog and publish about three to four times per week, you'll get 5x more traffic than your competitors. More traffic means the possibility of more patients. Shh. We won't tell.
3) Publish content your visitors can use. Make yourselves valuable. Figure out what your patients want and then give it to them. Give them the five reasons flossing makes a difference in their dental health. Outline things they can do to prevent gum disease. Tell them how to choose a dentist who is right for their family.
4) Be a friendly business. You've attracted them with your web content and you got them into your practice for an initial consultation. But don't let it end there! Contact them after their visit with an engaging email telling them how much you appreciate their business and offer them a discounted service or product on their next visit.
5) Keep patients in the loop. Don't forget about them between six-month cleanings. Ask them to be a part of your practice's social network on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. And then post, tweet and pin to them!
Follow these steps and you'll have even more delighted customers to refer friends to your practice!
